babies & women

i dreamt of babies and toddlers last nigth - lots of them boys and girls - they were all so adorable and the best part a few of them were mine - not sure if its my maternal yearnings working on overload or because my minds on work and my kids at school - either way it was a nice dream - dreams of little babies always are - they had thin babies chubby little babies yet all cuties smiling and laughing - ahhh yes a world with babies - bliss ..

i woke up to a nice suprise in my inbox too .. I received a 20% discount voucher from Borders - this was a very pleasant suprise. Its a one time offer for those who sign up for their mailing list - easy as that huh so when the school vacation starts i am off to Borders again armed with my voucher seeing that its valid till the 27th of November..

I took my doctors advice and stayed home.... i feel my left knee hurting now grrrr so instead of aggravating any of my knees any further i guess i should just relax it a bit - but its not all about rest i have work from school with me so that should keep me busy ... and i wont feel so guilty. The next two weeks will be evaluation for the other batch of kids and teachers too - end of the year is about reviews and reflections - how much you've done for the kids, yourself..how much the kids learnt and what not - its stressful none the less especially when you have to come face to face with parents .....

I woke up too some bad and good NEWS too - good news is that a man got convicted for genital mutilation of his daugher and the bad news is the scars that the girl has to live with for the rest of her life. I read on the news about how a man in Atlanta Ga was convicted of genital mutiliation. Sometimes in certain parts of the world its such a mans world that double standards are being practiced. Women are treated as second class citizens when much of the rearing education of children are done by the women - so much for being part of Adam's rib cos it seems we are not being treated as mens equal instead ...
