Friday night frite ooops writes ..

TGIF - finally ... its been a very long week and i am beat - in between work and worrying about stuff i am suprised i am still sane ..

well anyways its the weekend and i have two wedding invitations to some relative's wedding - argh !!! .. Dont get me wrong i love weddings - but when its a wedding where i dont know the bride nor groom i always moan & groan - i know her mom and her mom's sister so thats about it - i guess thats typical of weddings here - 500 or more guests are invited and i bet they only know say like half of those guests ... its a culture thing but hey if they are happy i am not even going to bother tho we tend to bitch about things (my cousins and i that is - it seems women have a thing for that .. Anyways if it was my wedding i would invite a bunch of close friends and family - so i know everyone who attends my wedding - so its more personal .... kinda like my close friend's wedding a few years back .. it was strictly close family & friends and a bunch of guys in uniform .. nope nope not strippers - they were around the night before ...

On a more serious note my friend eric's dad was admitted to the hospital this week. He had a mild stroke and that left eric in a state of worry - its tough for him being in a war zone and having to worry about his dad back home but he is focused when it comes to work ... As for his dad, his condition is stable as of this morning - which takes a slight load of his shoulder - anyways please say a little prayer for his dad's speedy recovery , for him & his family too .. .... I know 'C had a hard time dealing with a similiar situation - my heart goes out to them and those who are serving and pray that they be kept strong and safe ...

Well one more week of school and its vacation time woo hooo ... *dancing smiley* lol i wish yahoo would put all the new smilies on here too - i think blogging would be a whole lot more interesting & i would have the smiley icon instead of having to type in the words ...i probably sound like im whining right now hahaha..

Btw did anyone in Asia watch the Amazing Race Asia last night? I thought it was pretty cool - too bad they are not playing for 0ne million dollars - but i guess USD100,000 isnt too bad either. Its kinda cool to see the sense of competativeness in Asia too - cant wait for the upcoming episodes - i am thinking it is about to get pretty interesting.. I think the Amazing Race moment for last night was seeing that guy from Sri Lanka cry - he is afraid of heights and when they had to scale down eight floors he cried - really cried - never have i seen a grown man cry under such circumstance but kudos to him he made it - seems like he conquered one of his many fears. Speaking for myself i would probably panic too but it would be quiet an experience ..

I accidentally sliced a tad of my skin of middle finger of my left hand while cutting chicken and slightly burned my middle finger on my right hand .. im such a dork so ive been told a million times . my initial reaction was ouch then i just laughed at myself and right now it hurts .......... but im still laughing - i think my moods picking up - not sure what is causing it though - must be a piesces thing (sp?)..... one minute you're up and the next minute your down .. no wait a minute - its a WOMAN thing
