busy with a capital B
Its Saturday and the start of a very very long day for me. But not before I get on to write some to get me started and do the usual checking of emails and see how individuals who I care about deeply are doing in God’s forsaken land. Alas no news I guess they are constantly being kept busy none the less they are being thought of and kept in my prayers for their safety and well being.
It is Mother’s Day tomorrow and I will be spending it with 4 other great moms at my grandmothers. I am really excited about that and of course I get to see my mom whom I haven’t seen in ages. So this morning I will be off going grocery shopping, present shopping & to get the things I need to bake cakes & muffins. Going to be one sweet day in the literal sense. And the day being warm and beautiful just adds to the motivation- got to love it.
So I am on my journey of cooking and baking but before I do here is a fun fact ….
Fun fact - Anna Jarvis of Philadelphia began the campaign that brought about the official observance of Mother's Day in the United States. Her mother died, and Anna wanted all mothers to be remembered. She asked that white carnations be the official mother's day symbol. In 1914, President Woodrow Wilson signed the orders that made Mother's Day a national holiday. -
Blog ya this evening world …… if everything gets done ...
