blue skies sunday

Another weekend gone and tomorrow is another work week and exactly nineteen days before the mid year school holidays which me and other teachers alike are looking forward too I am sure. So another Sunday goes and I spent the day taking pictures of clouds lazing around like a panda reading some and cleaning some. It is said that if you unclutter your space it will invite more positive energies from the universe not really how true that is but for me I love looking at an uncluttered room house etc etc and what can I say if its not cooking I enjoy cleaning and arranging. I just like things organized I suppose. Anyways I was cleaning my knick knack box when I found little keepsakes which brought back a lot of memories- each item a reminder of something and who they were from. I will blog more about what I found sometime soon. ..

Like I said I took some pictures of the sky over the weekend. It’s taken from my place. I love clouds everyday is different and each day pretty. I like how it changes color and the reds out the black clouds when its about to rain – the multi shades of grey on a moonlit night its just an amazing sight especially when you little stars scattered all over a sight to be hold be it the sky in the day or at night. I made a slide of the skies over my house. I added the little butterflies as an effect seeing that I love butterflies and I think it adds a special touch to the skies.. The slide is below.. Pretty isn’t it… I included a little poem I wrote about clouds.

A beautiful day with brightness everywhere
The seas so calm
On a windy weekend day
The palm tree sway
As the birds fly about free high up in the sky
The clouds are fluffy like a pillow on my bed
As the blue skies emerge beneath them
All shades of blue turquoise and grey
It rides high above the earth yet seems so close
Set against the green of the tress and the brown of the sand
You get a world of colors that makes the world come alive …
Lying beneath the sky you see a world of shapes
Of hearts of people of animals in the sky
Watching clouds can take you away
As you look up at the majestic sky above..
You get lost you smile and you squint
For the sunshine shines as you lay..
The day is so beautiful
I can’t complain
My hearts happy
My spirits high
As the wind blows and the sea breeze sends out a scent
I lay in my corner looking up at the sky
Once again dreaming..

I had a very unsatisfying bowl of sea good noodles. I think they burnt the sauce because of the taste. You can just tell when something is so dinner was big disappointment but I still managed to finish it didn’t want it to go to waste. Yeah I bought some food from outside – was just too lazy too cook. :P

In a previous blog I think I wrote about an interview Oprah had with larry king and they spoke about the book Secrets. Its about how our thoughts can manifest itself into being if we think about it . I found a quote that actually supports that .. and it goes something like this ..

All that we is the result of what we have thought.-Buddha.

My interpretation of this quote is if we feel we are down and out and it seems we are destined to be miserable then that is what it will be but if we think positive thoughts the results would the obvious. Sometimes we do think negative thoughts when we don’t know certain things and I think in some ways it sends out negative vibes hence creating a negative outcome. Hmm something new to do now always think positive thoughts. as hard as it is it can be done .. we can choose to take life’s hurdles in a positive light by means of empowerment or let it push us down to the ground.

Anyways that’s it from me today .. I watched ‘ugly betty’ it was all about love and finding the one which made me shed a little tear im just emotional when it comes to happy endings and when the not so popular people win. There is hope for us all … Bedtime for me .. I hope the weekend was smokin’ for everyone and have a great week ahead..
