That would be the perfect quote to start any week with. No matter how bad the day is its always different than any other and out of all that there is always something positive if we look into it. It may not be for our sake but maybe someone else and to see someone else’s load lighten is always a wonderful feeling. And miracles happen in many ways sometimes we are too busy to look out for them. A miracle doesn’t have to be the literal meaning of the word but the little things that we see around us that puts a smile to our face and make our hearts dance and as much as we need a miracle that miracle is there just look deeper …

Well anyways .. ;))… I had a good Monday I was in high spirits, the day was amazing and people were actually civil at least where I was. I cant really say for other parts of the world but then lets not go there. Last night it seems I dreamt about cupcakes I don’t even know why. I was not looking at cupcakes nor was I even thinking it all I know was that we were at my grandma’s kitchen and my mom was making cupcakes and asking our opinions about it. I think she was making a red velvet cupcake lol wait I remember now I was looking for a recipe for red velvet cupcake yesterday now I know why I dreamt about it and it could also be because were making cupcakes for my cousins wedding and I had to look for a fondant recipe for a cake my moms making for a wedding this month. So its cakes and weddings *please God no more dreams of weddings and cakes*. I wonder if I ate the cake in my dream I would wake up bloated and what not? Hmmmm…

On Sunday the daddy panda and baby panda shared a moment if not seeing each other can be called that emmm I think it can .. heehee.. anyways.. I think its sad that mei lan cant be with her daddy – i guess maybe because I was closest to my dad and its sad that he is no longer around but these are pandas then again they are human like just like in any relationship between parents and babies.. The news about mei lan and yang yang her daddy is below ..

While cleaning this morning I received a call over the radio from one of the Panda Guides to check out Yang Yang and Mei Lan. My first thought was “WHAT!?!, Yang Yang should not be interacting with Mei Lan.” Since giant pandas are solitary animals once they reach sub-adulthood, Yang Yang will never be in the same habitat as Mei Lan at the same time. So, I checked out the cameras to see what the Panda Guide was talking about. Well, it turns out that Yang Yang was eating his bamboo while sitting next to the training panel that is in the wall between the two habitats. During this time, Mei Lan walked over to the other side of the panel and even though they could not visually see each other, Mei Lan was sniffing at the door through the small crack at the bottom. Yang Yang put down his bamboo for a short period of time to sniff back at his daughter. This interaction did not last long as Yang Yang turned back to his bamboo and Mei Lan fell asleep.

I was watching panda cam like always and I love watching how lun lun hugs and cuddles with mei lan. Kisses her shows her affection. I think mei lan feels the love or she could be saying darn mama let me play alone hee hee either way they look like they are having a lot of fun. It would be so cool if I could do that with my mom I mean nudge each other run around and what not. I just think these animals are so free spirited and for humans to be nudging and wrestling well that gives others a whole different perception but hey not in the panda kingdom – for them its all about showing the love ..

And so that was my Monday same ole but always something new with my favorite pandas… now I am off to la la land … its going to be a very long week ..
