goldilocks & the 3 pandas ..

TGIF …. And I say that with a lot of enthusiasm & excitement ….. I have been feeling icky and I am so looking forward to the weekend aside from the fact it’s exactly a week before the school holidays. Anyways it’s still only midday so I can’t be too excited its lunchtime here and I thought I would blog a little before having to finish the bits and pieces. It’s been a week since I heard from “C” and I really wonder what’s going on with him if he is ok and all that. Last time I heard from him he just wasn’t himself – I just hope things are better now and knowing me I worry a whole lot and seeing that I can’t do anything about the not knowing bit I bury myself in other things like writing and books but deep down only God knows what’s going on in my head and my heart … though it works only for a moment. I do hope I get news from him soon and hopefully he is safe sound back to his old self and most important smiling & happier …

Anyways, a friend of mine sent me this picture seeing that i have a love for pandas. Isn’t this just an adorable picture? I think this is the Oriental's answer to goldilocks and the three bears. The Asian version would be Goldilocks and the three pandas starring Meil Lan as the baby panda her mommy Lun Lun and her daddy Yang Yang ..... Got to love the pandas.. ;) I guess goldilocks had a taste of bamboo in this adaptation lol .. Wonder if it’s fresh bamboo or porridge bamboo ... hmm.... I think in this version Goldilocks went to China for a vacation then get lost in the forest and found the home of the pandas and seeing how tired & hungry she was from being lost she decided to go in anyway seeing no one was around .. Well as for the rest of the story I am sure everyone knows what happens …

In reality though Mei Lan cant spend time with her daddy even though he is around. But I reckon they do share a special bond. .. I mean Lord knows what her dad would to her if they were in the same enclosure but still its just sad when I read about it even though it’s a natural thing for baby pandas to be closer to their moms rather than their dad. Anyways I don’t want to be sad and thinking about it is making me sad so let’s switch gears …

Lets talk about lunch.. Lunch for me today is fried macaroni I made with leftover pasta sauce. One of those quick easy delicious dishes and I love pasta and its ok to have my occasional carb which I deserve once in a while … So that’s what I will be doing eat lunch and finish some work..
