Thursday at a glance

I got my dates wrong fo my previous post on the full moon flower.. The next full moon is on May 31st argh …. I obviously got the numbers reversed.. I reckon its time for a visit ot the eye doctor but anyways.. today was my kind of day a day of thunders, cold wet Thursday., it rained for a little while then stopped but the dark remained dark with bits of sunshine trying to make its way out of the clouds – its windy and chilly so actually it was a better day to be in bed than at work but alas some of us have to pay our bills ;)) …

Anyways I have good news too today. I was talking to aunt on messenger when she told me that my cousin is out of hospital that is such a relieve. The stress over the past week or so has been alleviated so I thank God for that… My uncle rented some oxygen equipment for my cousin seeing that he does need that on and off. Thanks for the prayers and thoughts and warm wishes. J I am not sure of the full details but hopefully when I go over there this weekend I will see for myself …

And no its off to Iraq (yet again) .. I sound like the news but anyways .. the attack on a Green Zone that killed the Filipino workers were unfortunate and uncalled for. I have to admire these foreign workers who go to war torn countries to work to make a better life for themselves. They have my up most respect. As for the workers who died my prayers go out to them and their families. Speaking of the Green Zone just how safe is safe these days in war torn Iraq? A place well walled up experiencing its third attack rocket attack and causing death and injury. Is anywhere really safe anymore?

On a better note have you heard of Octy? He is an octopus at the aquarium in New Zealand. They found him and took him in and he is one smart octopus. His keeper did a little experiment where he placed some crabmeat into a tight lid bottle and put it in the tank. And guess what? Octy managed to open the bottle and take the crab meat his favorite dish. Now how is that for a smarty sucker ;)) ..

So I am off to watch some television some pretty good shows on tonight prison break and without a trace are just two of them tonight. . Before I head off here is a little quote from Oprah to think about …
