mini monday ;))

i could didn’t think of any other title so ‘Mini Monday’ came to mind ;)) anyways .. ..

A new week comes before us and little miss groovie slept in knowing that i have a lot of errands to run. I set my alarm for 6am and 9am - i woke up at 6 then went back to sleep and the alarm went off at 9am and i went back to sleep only to wake up two hours late *blushes* i must have been really tired or my dreams must have been really something hahahaa @ me ....

Last night was a dream of aliens and some children and then a flying saucer which actually blended itself with the sea suddenly flew up into the air and the funny part was that i actually went to chase it - my curiosity got the better of me i guess ;)). So i chased it and the next thing I knew I was with a bunch of friends and some of the people around were aliens. Though in human form. I remembered there were saving people involved hmmm.

Maybe my dreams are trying to tell me that things are not always what they seem nor are people. Maybe what people put upfront is just a facade and they are hiding certain things maybe for good reason and then some ..

This morning i found ''c' in my in box ;)) as an email of course - its good to finally hear from him after five days and just as i expected technical problems on his end but its good to see that he is doing good and i really enjoyed his email - i can only imagine how he goes about his day through his words among other things tee hee .. ;)) .. anyways

Like I said I have a long day ahead of me. My to do list is as follows

Morning

1- Go to the market for some groceries

2 -Cook lunch (today’s lunch is rice, stir fried vegetable \& chillie chicken)

Afternoon

1- Go to the tailor and get dress sewn for my cousins wedding

2- Send camera to get fixed (the darn lenses got stuck)

3- Look around for shoes and other stuff for cousins wedding ;))

Evening

1- Go over to my aunts place to get some things for her.

2-Send food to my aunt at the hospital & hang out there for a while.

And that is my to do list for today and of course in-between especially on the train rides there will be that occasional pondering and book reading and the best part of today is that its going to rain – the clouds are real dark and the thunders are making its presence felt so cant forget the umbrella ..

Now a little news about the Animal Enrichment day at Zoo Atlanta and of course everyone’s favorite panda mei lan ..

Sunday, June 3
from what I heard, Yang Yang, Lun Lun, and Mei Lan seemed to have a wonderful time during the “Enrichment Day” event yesterday. Though I was not here for the event, I got the see the remnants of the actives from yesterday- TOYS EVERYWHERE. It looked like Jay and Kenn provided the bears with some of their favorite enrichment items: the weeble, a jolly ball, the planet ball, the scent ball, and a hanging puzzle feeder (that Mei Lan decided was worth another play with this morning). To help keep the items “fresh and new” to the bears, these items will be removed soon and stored away for some time. So that when they are offered again, it will be more novel to them.

Also, for all the local panda fans, Channel 2 WSB-TV will be airing a Panda Special on Tuesday night, June 5th at 8pm. It is titled “Mei Lan- Atlanta’s baby panda”.

I guess my day’s not as mini as it seems after all seeing the amount of things I have to do but none the less always look for the little things to make it an interesting day and so that’s for it for now but before I leave a daily inspiration to think about ..
