Yikes July 1st the GST increase goes into play today yuck ;)) .. 7 percent on goods and services. I think some stores implemented this even before it started . I wont find out really how much of a pinch this is until I go grocery shopping in the next couple days though I think that some stores absorb the GST so we wont feel the pinch but we will see – I am thinking they can only absorb so much of it ..

Anyways it is another beautiful Sunday morning, and I will have to keep this entry short & sweet seeing that I have a long morning ahead of me. I have to do some pampering - the usual girl stuff eye brow trimming, facial mask and what not. I have a wedding to attend this afternoon with mom though I am not looking forward to it I will be civil about it and smile. This is one of those weddings where I don’t know who the couple is but my mom knows their parents me I don’t know either hah but they know me as my moms daughter so I was invited – I know it seems weird but that’s how it is for us out here. I am thinking we wont be staying long though cause my mom is going back to grandma’s later today anyways ..

Today I am wearing a cream yellow traditional Malay dress called the baju kurung. Its actually my mom’s and it fits well on me – I really like it cause I think I am starting to develop a taste for vintage clothing and the clothes of the people before me are really beautiful and the material used is unique and of good quality. I am teaming the dress up with a soft peach/brown combo long scarf which I hang on my shoulders – its like an accessory to enhance the outfit and to complete the ensemble I am all with pearls this time ;)) .. The whole outfit is simple and comfortable – just the way I like it. ..

Anyways I better be on my way doing things around the house and pampering myself – today is my day at least for a few hours so blog ya later world ..
